⭐ Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav is set to make at least $550 million from the Paramount deal, including $116 million in stock
⭐ Ari Emanuel & Mark Shapiro’s company MARI purchased Collect-A-Con
Emanuel (Chairman of WME Group and CEO of TKO) and Shapiro (President & COO of TKO Group) just took a huge step into the world of collectibles. They now own the event company that brings together fans of anime, trading cards, gaming, and more across 24 events annually with more than 500,000 attendees. Their portfolio now includes the Miami, Rio, Madrid Open (Tennis), Melbourne Marathon, Frieze, Barrett Jackson (cars anyone?), food festivals and even Bucketlisters, which finds events in your city. AKA A MASSIVE BET ON IRL.

⭐ Disney+ penned a multi-year deal with production company ‘The Seven’ to create more Japanese live action originals.
⭐ OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said that AI in Hollywood will get people to ‘care more about human creators, not less’

⭐ Universal Music Group-backed investment platform Chord Music is raising $500 million in funds, while using $830 million worth of catalog royalties including Twenty One Pilots, Morgan Wallen, and more as collateral
⭐️ Netflix is close to a roughly $330 million deal to buy Radford Studio Center, a 55-acre campus with 22 soundstages, from Goldman Sachs.
The move lands as L.A. stage occupancy hovers around 62%, far below the 90% norm from 2016 to 2022, turning a historic lot into a relative bargain.
